I help you with challenges and problems.

We often get on well in life and can use our personal resources to grow. At the same time, there can always be issues that we perceive as stressful and problematic.

Stress and overload can be experienced very differently from person to person, vary greatly in scope and intensity and affect various areas of life. Here are a few examples:

Using a great range of methods, strengthening resources and focusing on solutions

Openness, mutual appreciation and a solution-oriented approach are fundamental ingredients to my therapeutic understanding.

My attitude and my work are characterised by the systemic approach. This means that I don’t look at problems in isolation, rather I focus on the interactions and relationships between people and on the circumstances under which certain problems occur.

The systemic approach helps people to adopt different perspectives, recognise patterns and initiate change processes. Using different methods of conversation, visualisation and set ups, I offer you new insights into your concerns and help you to develop suitable ideas for solutions.

What can you expect after contacting me?

  • We’ll make an appointment for an initial consultation, during which you’ll get to know me and my way of working.
  • As a couple you are invited to get your first impressions together.
  • The conversation also helps me to find out more about your concerns and to clarify your expectations of me and my services.
  • If you are unsure whether my offer is suitable for you and your concerns, we can discuss this in advance by telephone.
  • After the initial consultation, you, or you as a couple, decide whether further appointments should be arranged and whether we should enter into a counseling or therapy process together.

Location & Costs

In my experience, a few appointments are often enough to provide helpful impulses and positive changes.

On average, a systemic counselling or therapy process comprises a maximum of 15 appointments, often even fewer.

The sessions take place in the practical space of Anika Hier and David Förster. The room is specially equipped for counseling and therapy and is located at Volprechtstraße 21 in 90429 Nuremberg, near the Gostenhof subway station.

Initial meeting

The initial meeting to get to know each other and clarify setting and topic lasts 60 minutes, both for individuals and couples. The cost for this is 60 euros.

Individual Consultation

For individuals, an appointment lasts 60 minutes. The cost for this is 90 euros. You can cancel appointments free of charge at least 24 hours in advance.

Couples Consultation

A couple’s appointment lasts 90 minutes. The cost for this is 120 euros. You can cancel appointments free of charge at least 24 hours in advance.

My work as a counsellor and therapist draws on my experience and methods from previous projects, e.g. in the fields of cognitive science, applied learning psychology, creativity and innovation.

As a speech coach, I offer expertise in oral communication and conversation.

Since 2021 I have been working as a psychological specialist in a youth and family counselling centre.
